International conference June 21./22. 2008 in Hamburg
"Homeopathic aid projects as promoter for sustainable development"
A contribution of HWW and HOG* to the development policy discussion
Aim of this conference in Hamburg is to discuss the contribution of homeopathic aid projects for a sustainable development by a multi-level encounter in workshops, discussion groups and training in intercultural communication. It joins in cooperation partners of HWW from Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe for a participative reflection.
Homeopathy is known as a possibility to free humans from disease fundamentally without side-effects.
Homeopathic aid projects have their place in developmental activities for more than 10 years.
The advantages are explicit: Homeopathic medicine is easily fabricated, stored and transported and especially cheap. Delivering the Know-How can (and should) be adjusted to the needs on-site. Homeopathy is applicable in remote areas.
Based on the principle “like cures like” homeopathic projects serve help for self-help in regions of poverty and humanitarian help in catastrophes.
Less investigated and known is the contribution of homeopathic aid projects to a further sustainable development in the concerned region and its impact on the understanding of peoples.
